Scripture Reading:
“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:13
There is a longing deep within each of us, an ache for something greater than what this world can offer. We often attempt to fill this void with relationships, achievements, or material possessions, yet nothing truly satisfies. Why? Because this longing can only be fulfilled by the One who created us.
God invites us to seek Him wholeheartedly, promising that He will make Himself known to us. He isn’t hiding; He desires to reveal His presence, love, and purpose in our lives. When we make the pursuit of God our priority, we discover not only Him but also a clearer understanding of ourselves—who we are in Him and the abundant life He has for us.
True satisfaction is found when we align our hearts with God’s will. In seeking Him, we find the peace and fulfillment our souls crave. Our identity is no longer defined by external things, but by the love of our Creator.
Reflection:
Are you seeking God with your whole heart, or are you dividing your attention between Him and worldly pursuits?
How might your life change if you trusted God to be your source of ultimate satisfaction?
Prayer:
Lord, I come to You with a heart longing to know You more. Help me to seek You with everything I have, trusting in Your promise that You will reveal Yourself to me. As I draw closer to You, show me who I am in You, and let my heart find its true satisfaction in Your presence. Amen.
Action Step:
Set aside intentional time today to seek God in prayer or scripture. Ask Him to show you areas in your life where you’ve been searching for fulfillment outside of Him, and surrender those to Him.
